Every year, it feels almost impossible to decide what our favourite part of Young Talent Expo is.

Is it hearing the laughs and wonderful conversations happening across all the exhibitor stands?

The incredible performances taking place on our live stages?

The nervous buzz and excitement coming from the audition rooms?

There is SO much happening throughout the day, and truly something for everyone.

But… it’s undeniable. One of the things that makes Young Talent Expo so special is the opportunity to LEARN!

Think about it: in just one day, you can have access to multiple seminars and workshops led by industry professionals and leaders, all in one place and IN PERSON!

In an industry where so much now happens through screens, emails and self-tapes, having the opportunity to actually get in a room, learn directly from working professionals, ask questions and soak up their knowledge is pretty special.

So, for those of you who love our seminars and workshops just as much as we do, we want to make sure you have all the insider info you need to make the absolute most of them!

Which rooms can you go into? Which ones are for your age group? Can parents come too? And which ticket do you need?

Consider this your Young Talent Expo seminars and workshops insider guide.

Here is EVERYTHING you need to know! 🎭✨

Which Rooms Can I Go Into?

There are four seminar and workshop rooms at Young Talent Expo, and the most important thing to know is that they don’t all have the same age requirements.

Here’s your cheat sheet:

Finsbury Workshops: Ages 8–12

The Finsbury Workshops are for young performers aged 8–12.

If you fall within this age group, this is your dedicated workshop room!

Broadgate Workshops: Ages 12+

The Broadgate Workshops are for performers aged 12 and over.

So, if you’re 12+, this is the workshop room for you.

Commercial Room Seminars: All Ages

The Commercial Room Seminars are open to ALL ages.

Both young performers and parents or carers are welcome to attend these seminars.

London Wall Seminars: All Ages

The London Wall Seminars are also open to ALL ages.

Again, these seminars are open to both young performers and parents or carers, so you can head in and learn together.

What About Parents and Carers?

Here’s one of the biggest things we want everyone to know before the day:

Seminars are for parents and young performers!

Both of our seminar rooms, Commercial Room and London Wall, are open to all ages, and parents and carers are very welcome to attend alongside their young performers.

When it comes to the workshops, however, we encourage young performers to head in without their parents or carers where possible.

It gives them the opportunity to enjoy the workshop independently, meet other young performers and get involved while you can use the time to explore everything else happening around the Expo!

So, the easiest way to remember it is:

WORKSHOPS → Young performers

SEMINARS → Young performers AND parents/carers

And don’t forget to check whether you need Finsbury (8–12) or Broadgate (12+) when choosing your workshops.

Which Ticket Do I Need?

The other important question: does your ticket actually give you access to the seminar and workshop rooms?

Here’s what you need to know:

🎟️ General Admission: £16.10

General Admission gives you entry to Young Talent Expo, including networking opportunities and access to our exhibitors.

Accompanying Adults will ALSO need to purchase a General Admission ticket to enter the expo with their young performer.

However, General Admission does NOT include access to the seminars and workshops.

So, if the seminars and workshops are a big part of why you’re joining us, make sure you have a ticket that includes them.

🎭 Class Pass: SOLD OUT!

The Class Pass includes full access to all live seminars and workshops throughout the day.

And you clearly LOVE learning as much as we do because…

Make the Most of It!

If there is one piece of advice we can give you for Young Talent Expo, it’s simple:

Be like a sponge! Soak it ALL in!

You have an entire day surrounded by young performers and working industry professionals, with opportunities to learn face-to-face and in person.

Ask the question you’ve always wanted to ask. Head into the room. Listen. Learn. Take notes. Try something new. And parents, make the most of those seminars too!
