Alan Turkington is an Irish actor working across tv, film, theatre and videogames. As well as playing Mr. Lange in all three seasons of Netflix's Heartstopper and in the finale film Heartstopper Forever, he has appeared in the BBC's award-winning AIDS: The Unheard Tapes, Dead Hot for Amazon Prime and is currently shooting on the next season of Bridgerton. Recently, it has been his privilege to focus on and champion untold original LGBTQ+ stories on screen including the Trans-led shorts Pillow Chocolate and Goodnight Ladies. His videogame work includes multiple roles in The Witcher and Baldur's Gate franchises and he is the co-lead of Cronos: The New Dawn.  He is also the voice of Sky TV.

He is a passionate activist for Equity, Act Up and an advocate for breaking down barriers for entry into acting and the industry for young people.
