Sarah MacDonnell is a founding member and Co-Chairperson of the Agents of Young Performers Association (AYPA), playing an active role in promoting best practice and high professional standards within the representation of young performers.

Through her work with the AYPA, Sarah has contributed to industry panels, forums and publications, as well as developing best-practice guidance for the sector. Her work with the association reflects her commitment to supporting a professional, ethical and sustainable industry for young performers and their families.

In 2017, Sarah established Ardent Talent, a boutique talent agency specialising in children and young adults. With many years' experience as an agent, performer and teacher, Sarah has developed a deep understanding of all aspects of the industry.

Sarah has a strong reputation for identifying, nurturing and developing young talent. The agency's clients work across television, film and theatre, with many going on to secure significant roles including series-regular television work, major feature films and West End theatre. Ardent Talent also maintains established co-representation relationships with leading agents and managers in Los Angeles and New York, providing clients with opportunities and representation across both the UK and US markets.

Sarah's professional expertise is complemented by her first-hand experience as a parent of a professional actor. Her child began working professionally in the West End at the age of nine before moving into film and television and now in their twenties is a full-time adult actor with an established career. This experience gives Sarah a particularly valuable perspective on the journey of a young performer and the support required by both performers and their families.
